This message from Karen Campbell is an update to the earlier "Death of Mary Staat’s Father" message:
"…Mary Staat’s dad passed away in Norman. The services are Thursday, October 21, at 10 AM at Christ United Methodist Church. Her parents had been very active members of Christ and their congregation will be taking care of the lunch for the family.
At this time, we don’t know of any needs, but cards and notes would be appreciated. Chancel Choir is still taking meals to the Staat family. The grass isn’t growing and the leaves aren’t falling, so their yard is doing fine. However, Maranatha is on standby for additional meals and yard work as needed."
The earlier message had reported that the funeral will be held at 11am, but according to Moore Funeral Home’s online information, the funeral will be held at 10am. The viewing will be today from 3-8pm at Moore Funeral Home. – Barbara Meehan
