VALENTINE DINNER SOCIAL – Saturday, Feb 11 – Ti Amos at 61st & Sheridan for 6:30 – A room has been reserved and there are some extra spaces if you would still like to attend!

Announcements
~ The next class social will be February 11 – a Valentine’s Dinner at Ti Amos
~ CHILI SUPPER – Volunteers needed for February 27th – you’ll have more chances to sign up!
~ Work Area on Missions is sponsoring a mission trip to Bolivia in July, It is a medical and construction trip. The cost for each participant will be $1000 (WAOM is picking up $1000 of the cost). There is a table in Bishops Hall for sign-ups and information
~ Lights on for Cookson drive began – donation envelopes were passed around – continues all month
~ There will be a special luncheon session with Dr. Bruegemann – you can arrange for your ticket by contacting Paula Gadney

Joys and Concerns
~ Shari and Lynn announced the engagement of their daughter, Julie
~ David and Kendall Carpenter announced that Grant had been accepted into OU Law School

Prayer
Scott Morgan offered the class prayer

Speaker
We are thrilled to have Ed Payton, a Walter Brueggemann scholar, back for another week. Dr. Brueggemann will be the Barton-Clinton-Gordy Lecturer at the end of February.
