Dinner for David Cooley’s Family

All,

Please read carefully:

David Cooley’s family has requested that we provide a dinner after David’s service on Friday. The dinner will be at 6pm at David’s house, at 4630 E. 14th Street. The family has requested that no additional food be delivered before that time.

THE FAMILY HAS ADVISED OF CERTAIN DIETARY RESTRICTIONS:

  • No MSG
  • No Beef or Pork in any of the dishes

Allene Donley will be coordinating this effort. Maranatha will provide chicken and/or turkey for the meat course, which Allene and Rex will pick up.

Approximately 25 people are expected for the dinner. Here’s what we need from you:

  • Salads
  • Side Dishes
  • Bread (rolls and/or loaves of bread) and butter
  • Desserts
  • Help with delivery of the food

It’s not necessary that you prepare and/or purchase something for 25 people, but we ask that you provide enough for at least 8 – 10 people. Everything should be provided in disposable containers.

IF YOU CAN HELP WITH THE ABOVE: Please contact Allene at (918) 851-0630 and let her know what you are bringing and the quantity. That way, we can avoid 25 side dishes and no drinks.

To simplify logistics, you may bring your items to the church kitchen before David’s services on Friday at 2pm. Please label your items “Cooley Dinner”. Rex and Allene will see that they are transported to David’s house. If you choose to take your items directly to David’s house, please drop them off promptly at 6pm.

Questions may be referred to Allene at the number above.

Roger
