The love offering basket will be out on Sunday, and the purpose of the offering requires some explanation. If you are so inclined, please place your gift in the basket.
Clarkie Williams’ brother Freddie is having a benefit for his Alzheimer’s treatment in Pine Bluff AR on May 19. She is hopeful of attending the event with her son but is not financially capable of making the trip. Clarkie wrote a letter to Rev. Wiggs regarding the event, and he appropriately forwarded it to Roger and me.
We won’t make any comments about this in class Sunday but will have the basket near the coffee pot. Comments would be awkward if Clarkie is present.
