Dear Maranatha friends,
CHANGE OF PLANS FOR THIS SUNDAY! Rabbi Charles Sherman was to be our teacher, but he has had an emergency that requires him to be out of town. Instead, we have a wonderful opportunity to hear our own Dr. Mouzon Biggs! Please keep Rabbi Sherman in your prayers – he promises to reschedule after the summer.
We will still join Pilgrimage, Journey and Amy Venable’s Bible Study Class in the sanctuary Sunday, and will not have refreshments or class business. Please plan to check in at the back of the sanctuary when you arrive, then sit in one of the two south sections, as close to the front as possible. Rick will introduce Dr. Biggs promptly at 9:45, then he will have most of the hour to teach. It will be a great morning!
Many thanks to Dr. Ruth Weston for her thought-provoking series on Mary the past two weeks. You can hear recordings of her presentations, and all of our lessons, at http://www.bostonavenue.org/maranatha.html .
