Thanks to Carol Maus for closing out our Advent series last Sunday with a thoughtful, thought-provoking lesson on peace. If you missed hearing her, you can find her lesson and other previous lessons at http://www.bostonavenue.org/maranatha.html .
We have an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company this Sunday at our year-end brunch. Please plan to join us – and bring a dish to share.
CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS
This year’s CHRISTMAS PARTY AND AUCTION really was the best one yet! Auctioneers Jim and Scott used a game show format to announce that the auction raised a whopping $27,035 for missions. What a caring, generous group! Mark and Susie Butterworth will not be in class this Sunday, so if you haven’t paid up yet, you can do that next Sunday, January 6.
Happy Birthday to Karen Harris and David Kooker – both today, December 28.
We welcomed guests Kelsey Luks, Kristin Harlan, and Stephen Echols to class Sunday. We also welcome Steve Schnitzer as a new member!
