Dr. Don Hertzler began his series of lessons for the month of November on "The Discernment in the Desert-the Exodus and Settlement of the Jews". He started with a discussion of the migration of the Hebrews out of slavery in Egypt. We look forward to this interesting series of lessons.

Birthdays this week include Rob Davis (6), Janet Purington (7), Judith Payton (7) and Bill and Bob Thomas (9). No class members celebrated their anniversaries this week.
Prayer

- Our class helped with the Restore Hope Thanksgiving enrollment last Tuesday, November 5.
- The class social was the Pizza and Bunco Party last night, Friday, November 8.
- There will be an Exodus House Open House on Tuesday, November 12 from 4:30-7:00 pm. It’s a great opportunity to meet our new occupant, Cynthia.
- The Redemption dinner will be November 24.
- The Christmas Auction Party is Saturday, December 7. It’s time to decide what you want to auction for the classes’ mission money.
- Scott Morgan encouraged the class to sign up to give the prayer. It can be a spiritually rewarding experience for both you and the class.
- Don’t forget: We need officers who will serve the class next year.
Church Announcements
- We gave a Love Offering for the staff who had their cars broken into at the church.
- The Volunteers in Missions (VIM) training will be on Saturday, November 23 from 9-4. Let Richard Wansley know if you are interested in attending.
Joys and Concerns
- Susan Day is recovering from her knee surgery at Southern Hills rehabilitation center.
