1. From Lynn Jesse. Thank you all of Maranatha for your support for the Payton family this past Friday–we take care of each other.
2. Blue Grass and Chili at the Shepard’s will be this Saturday at 6:30PM This is a great event and is a auction item.

I apologize to all for possibly misleading you on my emails. Here is the scoop as I know it.
May 29th, this week Friday
11:30, need volunteers to bring side dishes to the church (Lynn Jesse will be supplying the meat)
1 PM, Memorial service for Stella Payton
Approximately 2PM, family will come in to have lunch after the service
Approximately 3PM, family leaves and time for clean up.

We have had inquiries about flowers for Stella’s family.
Our son Richie and daughter in law Joey are asking in lieu of flowers donations be made to B.A Respite Care, Little Light House or charity of your choice.

It is with a sad heart that I inform you that Richard and Jeannie Payton’s little granddaughter, Stella Payton, passed away yesterday.
They are having the memorial service at 1 on Friday and would like to have lunch afterwards for about 30 people.
We are asking for volunteers to help with this meal by setting up, serve and clean up.
Please email Lynn Knight Jesse at lynn_jessee as soon as possible if you are able to assist.

I’ve scheduled vacation for Friday, May 29, to clean the apartment. I’ll be going over by 9:00 or 10:00 in the morning and cleaning until it is done. Any help from class members would be greatly appreciated.

Good to see everyone. What a great brunch and a great time to relax and to socialize with our fellow church and classmates.
Some highlights from the notes:
1. Sharon Earley is trying to set up a date(s) (either 29 May and / or 1 June) to do final cleaning of the Exodus apartment. Also, if you have any donations, please get them to the class as soon as possible and/or call Sharon for a pickup date.
2. Pam Low and Shari Goodwin will be starting up the process to organize our member picture board in alphabetical order and with new pictures. If you want a new picture, please let them know and the will work it for you.
3. We are going to update our table clothes for our classroom and will also get good clear containers to put them into for upkeep. We will be using money out of the class donation account (petty cash) to pay for this purchase.
