Hey, friends:
I feel like Paul Revere who had his big moment dashing about the countryside alerting people that, “The British are coming! The British are coming!” My message is slightly different. “Dr Biggs is coming! Dr. Biggs is coming!” Dr. Biggs begins his month long stint in Maranatha THIS SUNDAY, July 3rd, and will be with us all of this month. You all know what a great teacher he is, so if you are not so far out of town that you can’t make it to hear his stentorian tones, I recommend that you try not to miss his first lesson. I have already booked him for a month in 2017 and rumor has it that he is going to poll us regarding what subject we would like for him to research and prepare. So if you would like your vote to count, be sure to be present.
One other item that I wanted to mention. We are rejoicing in our house because Molleigh is home from six months in Brazil after her semester abroad. For all of you that prayed for her safety, or comforted me during my manic maternal freak out moments during her absence, thank you so much for being our friends and caring about our daughter. We are so fortunate to be part of this amazing class.
If you are in town, then we will see you on Sunday. If not, then be safe and “may the road you travel always lead you home.”
