Maranatha newsletter for February 11

Greetings, Maranatha friends,

Linda Larson returned this week to conclude her very interesting, two-part lesson, “Be Careful What You Promise.” The audio recordings for both parts may be found here: http://www.bostonavenue.org/maranatha.html.

Be in your seats by 9:45 for the upcoming six Sundays in Lent, when our speaker will be Dr. Joel Panciera. Due to his choir schedule, our lessons will be shifted to the earliest possible start time – 9:45am – with the class business to follow.

Thanks to greeters, Richard & Jeanie Payton and Karen Tankersley for the snack spread, and to Susan Hamilton for the prayer. This week Suzy Morgan and Angelynn Dale will provide refreshments, and Jerry LeDoux will lead us in prayer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jerry LeDoux (2/11) and Sam Smith (2/17) who will be celebrating birthdays this week, and CONGRATULATIONS to Suzy and Rob Morgan who will be celebrating a Feb. 16 wedding anniversary.
