Then the winner and the Ladies that prepared the supper could dine together. (what a way to get to know someone).  The proceeds I thought could go to the Paul Staat family. Lesson 1 – Count it All Joy? – Are you kidding me?
Lesson 2 – Patience…Perseverance…Perfection!

The text:
James 1:2-4

(New King James Version)
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

(New International Version)
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

(Revised Standard Version)
2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
